General interests

It has already been a crucial question to Aristotle (384-322 BC) and he came to the conclusion that the sense of touch is essential for human cognitive faculty and that it is the basis for all the other senses. Thus, this complex sensory system is in first place philosophically and epistemologically. We follow this perspective from the experimental psychologist's point of view, and therefore, different issues concercing the sense of touch are also in first place in our study group.
